Meet Celeste Perez, Arts Mission Oak Cliff member. As a teenager living in Dallas, an unexpectedly lighthearted role drew her to study clowning as a form of performance art. Today she works on television and film projects. Celeste has been performing at Arts Mission and taking classes since 2017 and hopes to one day produce food documentaries.

As a life and soul coach, Rachel’s life’s work is in helping others find belief in their own authenticity and start living fuller lives. Our member spotlight features Dallas-native Avery-Jai. Spilling over with ambition, her purpose is imbued with projects that generate a sense of community and connection. As the founder of local contemporary dance company “Don’t Ask Why,” she has been teaching and honing her craft at Arts Mission since 2018.
